Six months waiting period required for all new products. Joining Fee of R50.00 required for all policies. except grand family package R100.00. Existing policies requiring upgrages will enjoy 3 months waiting period except grand family. Policies 5 years or older enjoy 2 month waiting period on on upgrades of policies of identity documents and birth certificate required for all policies. All adopted or inherited childern require letter from Social Workers. Kids turning 21 next birthday must upgrade policy prior to the next birth day failing which they will be omitted from the scheme. All premiums paid in cash should be paid by not later thatn the 7th of every month. Premiums paid via debit order must be honoured. All dishonoured bedit orders will incur a penalty of R25.00. Destiny Funeral Scheme ahs the right to withhold any services deemed necessary if a suspicion of fraud is suspected. Destiny Funerals will not offer any services if the deceased under the policy is not in the care of Destiny's mortuary. Destiny Funerals has the right to utilise coffins & caskets supplied by certain designated manufacturers and will not accept any products from external suppliers. Client with policies that are not paid for 30 days will receive a limited number of services determined by management. Only standard coffins and caskets are used, for customised coffins and caskets an additional cash price will be negotiated by funeral manager. (Eg oversize, narrow, extreme hieght etc). Policies unpaid for more than 30 days will recieve no services. Policies unpaid for 90 days will be cancelled and if reinstated will attain new waiting periods determined by management.
